  • Day Zero: Server Information

    Hey, Survivors! As we enter the final hours before launch, we just wanted to get some vital information out to you! :Jerbhi:

    Day One Patch!

    The Day One patch will be set live across all platforms at approximately 8-9AM EST and should show up on all consoles within the hour. This update will include Ragnarok for console, as well as the End Boss content accessed through the Tek Cave for all platforms. 

    The update size for console will be approximately 26gb for Xbox. We do not have a number for PS4 yet, but PS4 patches are usually smaller in size due to the different method patches are submitted.

    New ARK Servers!

    The Official Server Network for PC will be going offline at 2 AM EST, and The Official Server Network for Consoles will be offline at Midnight EST. There will be at least an 8-hour blackout across all platforms where no Officials are online. After this blackout period, we will launch the new Official Servers, as well as the remaining Legacy servers. Over the course of the 24-hours following this, more servers will come online.

    For ARKs launch, we plan on providing new Official Servers for the following games mode: Regular/Vanilla, Non-TEK, Primitive+, Hardcore, Isolated Clusters, NoTaming, Extinction Servers and ORP. With the bulk of the servers being focused on the vanilla game mode (Both PVP and PVE), and smaller amounts of niche servers which could be increased based on player demand. The primitive game mode will be removed in favour of the Non-TEK Tier Servers.

    PC Asian/China Servers!

    The current Isolated PC PvP Asian Servers we have on our Official Network is hosted and provided by Snail Games. They have decided that with the launch, they will be taking down their legacy PvP Servers and relaunching them as part of the new Official Network. These servers will be included in our CrossARK Cluster, and therefore will be transferable to and from as opposed to being an isolated region. 

    ARK Legacy Save Files!

    Later this week, we will have both our PS4 and PC Legacy Save Files available to use. PS4 is expected to be here sometime tomorrow and will be accessible via hosting with Nitrado. Due to sensitive information contained in the save files, it is required to be accessed and hosted through a licensed third-party. Xbox saves will become available when rentable servers are available in September.

    Wildcard has screwed everyone. Says servers are down until 11am ET, it has gone 12m ET, Wildcard give us update, we brought your game & you have our money

    I have been reading ....or trying to read this whole thread it's really long....trying to get clarification about the legacy primitive servers. I moved to one that wasn't getting killed....pve primitive. It looks like people are saying ALL primitive will be gone. There will only be prim+ or non tek....or regular servers....so...will I be able to transfer to SOME KIND of legacy ragnarak server? Or am I now just out of luck after all that work moving?

    You all should have taken the servers down yesterday to prepare for this for launch day. 11am has past and nothing is ready for launch day for the consoles. Now I'm told another 5 to 6hrs what a raptoring joke. Watch when that time passes we will be told that it well not be ready until the 30. I wonder how many people who took the day off to play this game.

    Ok.... well here is another question why is it I sent in a ticket to get help with my chr getting lost in transferring on Aug 5th , this lvl 100 chr I might add is owner of my tribe and has over a 100 imprints and boss fights done, today on release I get a email saying there is no longer suport for my server.

    I have had this game since day one have bought it for family members, and I still get no support, a real kick in the butt for being there for the ups and the downs for this game.

    I have the exact same problem. A real kick in the balls. They could at least have the decency to fix game ruining problems like this, before they end support. We wait weeks and get nothing but a generic automated apology email

    I am on the session list (XBOX) and no sessions are found. I tried legacy, dedicated non dedicated, I get about 3 arks of personal non dedicated but that is is, changed options in several places but no luck with either the island or Scorched :(

    Am I doing something wrong?

    no stable servers, only 4 servers on EU, but u have de hard face to put in the steam market season passs 34 eur xD.

    Not a big deal to me, it is after all, just a game.  I do not use twitter and expected something to be posted on this site of news or progress and I could not find anything. Thought I was just having a limited problem.
