lots of cool stuff here, but what ever happened to ARK Digest?

Yay, wasn't sure if character sculptures would have a chance, got lots more ideas in mind then! I wanted to toss in Gary the snail, but I didn't start till Friday morning and didn't finish till the afternoon, didn't want to miss the deadline (Hint: Hoping to do characters/pieces from a certain game that is one of the most played in the world atm - many WC play it based on tweets - assuming I can get the shaping down). I wonder if turning them into a "base" helps, or if I should skip that component?

If there was an option for .ini to bypass the 75 height to be 150 or unlimited, that would be cool. Valoule told me a few mods to help with that though. I wanted to build Spongebob taller, but had to keep reshaping him to get the proportions decent. 
PS: @Jat - go watch Spongebob! At least 2 episodes, one of the best/funny cartoons from childhood 

Going to do different style of freeforms after next week I think, since the tv/movie parodies haven't been working out. Can the image be multiple small, segmented panels, or is that ruining the idea/purpose of the freeform image?

 

Really like the Mario Kart build, somehow knew it would win, have to wonder how many hours that took. Need to start on MK8 Switch, that really got me in the mood, huge fan or anything from Nintendo.

the videos are incredibly cool too! i wish i had the time to do do things like this! but it warms my heart to see that there are so many creative people playing this game. it makes me look forward to the crunches every time!

So is there not going to be a virtual wall put up around the volcano, my base is on the opisite side of the picture shown and looks like it may be on the boarder. or at least another photo of the other side that will be affected would be nice.

I agree 100% as far as Creativity we have the most amazing community of any game. I personally love Wolfangus  submission of "Plantation" it embodies what i think ark is. Make the best of a island of blood thirsty critters. The unique thing about Ark is until Jer shares the Actual Cannon Facts ARK is what ever we make it to be. and with upcoming mods and new content we have a varible sandbox of things to do. I enjoy Xbox and making my own server with Villages  where i have seen others Build a fudel system. I seen one ark where only Herbavores can be tamed.   Ark is truely a Game where people can meet and Bring their culture out in a creative way. 

Overall graphic quality is increasing, beautiful pictures!

yup, it is what I keep missing in other games I play. yes ARK has Dino's but these do not seem to be the main thing about this game. You can PVE/PVP/RPG/FPS in a MMO environment.

The mounts are amazing, breeding is awesome, but as a builder myself I can just get lost in building amazing bases and environments that I love.
