Really dont want a araneo tlc so many other things would be better 

still nothing about the power ranger mod being broken or anything about the free update -.- this should be labeled as a scam people bought the thing and can't even use wave 2 due to it looking all jacked up

Please make it so we can reduce the area for sir5erm8ts at the docking station so we can use more than 1 in render range doing different things!!!!

Nope, nothing about it at all. I cant even use the skins anymore because they just don't animate and cause issues with trying to find the dinosaurs hitboxes. having this as the most expensive cosmetic pack with the two waves, its embarrassing and the devs will only reply when called out about how this TLC is nothing but a selective scam. TLC of the creatures of Ark should have been done over the ten years this game has been live. They never get anything out on time so what else do they do?

Which is precisely why the one thing that DOESN'T need a TLC is the lead... Honestly, why do PvP bros' do this? Aren't they just going to do the same thig with the Carch next?

I agree, why does the Giga need a TLC of all things, why not useless Diplodocus. All it can do is nudge things, so much potential…

I'm really looking forward to the creature votes for Genesis 1. I've prepared an idea that I hope people will like. 

Im guessing the reason so many people want the Giga to have a TLC is because it has been around for so long yet looks so unfinished and ugly while its strength is incredibly awkward. The last time this thing has a "touch up" was just to make the tamed version pathetic next to a wild version. No other dino has such a stark difference between the wild and tamed versions.

Which is dumb. I'm all for giving the thing a face lift but for that to be the ONLY reason to give it a TLC feels like such a waste. TLCs are usually meant to not only update the model of a creature, but to breathe new life into it with new abilities so it has a role to play in any playstyle. The Giga has a purpose, be a PvP monster, and it already does that job well enough already... So it really doesn't need a TLC as badly as anything else on this list, much less anything else in the game.

- Boss, it's almost Friday and we have absolutely nothing to say in the Crunch ! What do we do ?
- Just give them some screenshot, they're used to not expecting much from us anyway.

Really wish they'd give a TIME when the submission forum will open. October 10th, okay, but what time, and in what time zone? Will I be awake? Asleep? The early bird always gets the Top 10 and the Win with these votes. 99.99% of players don't look past page 1, sometimes page 2. 

Everyone gets so creative! I'm excited too!

Yeah might as well just fold the CCs into once a month or every 2 weeks. Its clear they cant fill the weekly updates with anything meaningful. 

The last like 5 in a row have been pointless or "reveals" that amount to one piece of concept art. I'm beating a dead horse at this point though.

I heard about several submissions so far before the official voting starts:

Kronosaurus: a galactic version of it were it is the apex predator of the lunar biome.

Abyssosaurus: a deep sea predator in the ocean biome that can hypnotize creatures and players.

 

As much as I want something that benefits all biomes in Gen 1, these have sparked my interest.

What kills me is that they could EASILY make the Crunches more meaningful, even when there's nothing to announce, or not much they're willing to tease (WildCard has always had this weird idea that the less you show a product, the more people get excited about it...? yeah no I don't get it either).
But at this point it's very clear that communication is not WildCard's forte or priority.

They can't give you a time because it depends on when the Community Crunch is posted, and they aren't regular with it.
Most of the time it's Fridays (except when something was released that week, or will be released the next week, or there's been a major update... and sometimes there's nothing on Friday, because of reasons), so that's the only thing they can announce. But look at the past few Community Crunches : they're never posted on the same time. They don't seem to plan ahead so that the Crunch is written and ready to post (or, hell, scheduled), or at least not always. You can see that they rush to write many of them because so many have typos, missing links, missing pictures, placeholder text and more, because noone proofreads this on a Friday night before going home. You can tell that sometimes the Crunch was given the greenlight at the last minute, because it can be published super late or even the next day. Or sometimes they're even early (...the only thing WildCard ever does early), like this week !
It's like WildCard doesn't know that Friday is Community Crunch day, and suddenly at noon on Friday there's panic in the office because ohmygodohmygodwhatarewegonnasay.

So, don't count on a specific time, really. Usually I drop by at around 1am my time (GMT+1), refresh a couple of times, come back about an hour later, refresh a couple of times, and if there's still nothing, I say screw it and go to bed. Of course "screw it" when you've had a creature submission ready for over a year is frustrating...

Honestly that's a bit on us as a community. People should really be more curious about what they're voting on.
But I also feel like WildCard could make this easier. Having the submission forum set up as a gallery has long been a suggestion, for instance, to make it easier to see more creatures in one page... and also because a lot of players don't know species names. It'd speak to people more while browsing if they could tell right away what kind of animal a submission is.

the araneo deserves this, literally no one tames it
