    Survivors, we need just a little more time to get things right. Valguero Ascended and Fantastic Tames: Elderclaw have been delayed by one week, and will now launch on October 7th as the team focuses on final polish and stability. We know waiting is tough, and we appreciate your patience as we work to deliver the best experience possible and set the stage for an unforgettable return to Valguero.

    As we make final preparations, we couldn’t resist sharing a glimpse at one of the fiercest additions coming your way: the Elderclaw! Born of the wild itself, this towering forest guardian is both protector and predator, a primal force bound to the heart of the forest.

    While we won’t be able to host our usual 24-hour Extra Life livestream this year, we’re still going all-in on what matters most: uniting as a community to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and unlocking something special for the future of ARK: Survival Ascended.

    For every $30,000 raised through the Studio Wildcard Extra Life charity campaign, the community will unlock a Dino TLC pass to be released throughout 2026, breathing new life into a classic creature of the ARK with updated gameplay and style. Up to four TLCs can be unlocked at the $120,000 milestone!

    Starting October 31st thru November 10th, we’ll be rolling out a selection of the community’s favorite dino colors on the official network, along with a sweet twist in place of the traditional boosted donation rates. For the event, you’ll be able to dig into Cake Slices that grant hefty bonuses to:

    If you’re transferring or ascending to another server with an Armadoggo or Veilwyn in Companion Mode, be sure to exit Companion Mode first. Leaving it active may cause issues during the transfer.

    Engineers are continuing to work on the fix with high priority, and we hope to set it live soon.

    Amazon is updating its certificate signing system, which will impact the Epic Online Services (EOS) SDK starting October 1. While this may not affect most players, Epic recommends ensuring your Windows system is fully up to date to avoid potential issues.

    To help prevent any disruptions, Epic suggests the following steps (in order of ease):

    • Update and run the Epic Games Launcher (if installed) — a new mitigation feature will be added in the coming weeks.
    • Install the latest Windows Updates to ensure the required root certificate is present.
    • Manually install the certificate by running this command in a Command Prompt window: https://account-public-service-prod03.ol.epicgames.com/account/

    We’ll continue to monitor the situation and share more information as needed.

    Our next Community Creature submission will take place in the simulated biomes of Genesis Part 1! From the crushing depths of the ocean trenches and volcanic hellscapes to the desolate lunar surfaces and treacherous bogs, this unique map offers an unparalleled variety of habitats for your real-world prehistoric creature to call home.

    Start brainstorming your creature concepts and prepping those designs now, as submissions will open in the coming weeks. We’re excited to see how your creature adapts to the challenges of the simulation.

    Please note that this creature will be released for Genesis Part 1, so make sure your real-world submissions are thematically suited to the map’s diverse environments. We’re always blown away by the creativity and passion the community brings to creature submissions, and we can’t wait to see what wild things you’ll unleash this time around!

    So let me get this straight. For years people have asked for a new creature that could rival the Giga, and now that we have the Carchar, you guys want to TLC the Giga... are you going to TLC the Carchar next ?

    We should be promoting creatures that noone uses at the moment, BECAUSE THEN THEY WOULD HAVE A USE. Gigas are already everywhere, proof that they're not so bad. Go Araneo, go !

    Why announce the date if everytime it going to be delayed. Why not publicly announce a date a few weeks after the ETA and then if its late like it always is people arent disappointed otherwise you release early

    I only played 2 game regularly in last 10 years,  ARK & WoW.

    And somehow you guys constantly align the release of a new Map on Ark with the release of a new Patch on WoW several time now xD

    WoW new Patch is 8th October.  so literally the same time release since ARK always release late at night/morning next day. 

    I wouldn't mind if it was before or after, but so many time it's both on same week xD

    Yeah the delay...

    It's sad you wrote it so late. 

    It would be good idea to warn players mid-week that the schedule might change. Im sure there are bunch of guys who planned their days off at work just to be in Valg on time.

     

    Could you do something to prevent pillar/foundation spam on new maps?

    Either players take way too much land than they need or they claim land to sell it for real money. No Mans Sky have good land-claiming idea.

    I completely stopped using Giga completely since Carcha with decent stat released in ASE !

    Giga is useless now and need to be bought up to be around equal to Carcha.

    I also hate slow dino and Giga is so slow compare to Carcha without much benefit so I simply didn't touch any Giga in ASA at all.

    please give us the option to reduce the size of the work area for sir5rmate and improve the ai. they seem to only que up 1 task at a time no matter how many mates are in a area so more than 1 in a area is useless unless we can reduce the bubble similar to the leash option to reduce the area around the docking station. we would love to have different mates working on different tasks together.

    Tbh I'm not a big fan of all the plants around the head of the elder claw, I really hope that's for show and they dissipate or something, it kinda takes away from the grandeur and makes it look a bit busy in a not so good way

    I'm very, very tired of hearing that each map is getting delayed over and over again. Just don't give us a release date until it's finished and awaiting certification!

     

    We only have (I think) 6 more maps to go after Valguero. Lost Colony is next, followed by Genesis 1, and then we have Crystal Isles, Genesis 2, Lost Island, and Fjordur.

    Hopefully they do gen one then gen 2 then the non wildcard maps after .also these guys can't ever get a release date correct . Every map has been delayed  either  because they don't put it in cert a week before or they  have issues with it .not surprised Val is delayed . I won't be surprised if lost colany gets delayed again or isn't put in cert till five minutes before they plan to release it.

    Araneo will go from being useless to being useless with a better model. At least Giga will be useful and hopefully look much better.

    better to wait a week and have a more finished product.
    also what's going on with the 2x on astraeos, we aren't getting any bonus rates still hours later on my server and it has already crashed once since restart so should be active by now. already wasted 2 imprints today :/
