  • Community Crunch 460: The Party starts on June 2nd!

    ARK’s 10th Anniversary is nearly here, and the party kicks off this Monday, June 2nd!

    You can expect the update to roll out Monday late in the evening PST. Alongside the UE 5.5 Upgrade, we’ll be celebrating a decade of ARK with a fun anniversary event, new content, and more!

    • This event can be manually activated with the dedicated server arg parameter: -ActiveEvent=Birthday or via a drop-down menu in Host/Single Player mode.

    We’re making a key adjustment to OSDs on Astraeos to address a bug. Starting July 15th, when an OSD lands, it will now destroy any nearby player-built structures within its impact radius. This will be the same radius used for OSDs on Extinction.

    If you’ve built near potential OSD drop zones, we strongly recommend relocating your base before the patch goes live.

    I wonder if the torch sparkler skin will work like it did in Survival Evolved, where you can dye the skin and it'll change the light in a standing torch to match rather than having to dye the torch. Would make it easier to swap out combinations you like best.

    The question is do i bother trying to get back the holiday skins that disappeared from my acc when ext came out or will they just disappear again with Rag or Lost colony. 🤔

    Perhaps you could also TLC a bunch of the dinos that are outdated? For example, the Giga, Bronto, Plesiosaur, Mosasaur, Quetzal, etc. - I could go on and on and on...

    10 years I've played this game and cant believe they're giving us 2x rates and including an optimization 🥳

    No surprise a game this epic and the fails continue... its almost like reverse engineering something perfect 🤷‍♂️.

    X2 rates are really crap 💩 for the 10th Anniversary x10 for the 10th or more realistically at the very least x3, plus the mediocre colors and repurposed skins from ASE ie the birthday suit skin is a let down we were expecting much more from WC

    I mean the CCs always seemed pretty low effort but it's reaching new levels now. How about a big review and explanation of exactly what were getting with Mondays Ue5 update ? Nope, just regurgitated old info.

    THREE bison ccs and now two 10th anniversary ones that say basically the same thing... why even bother.
