Raptor wasn't my first choice, but I'm still happy it won. 

I hope the cheetah comes back again next vote or something. Actually, I'd be happy to see anything but the trikes or bug come to the game

I know Shockal said that, but he isn’t the only one to submit the cheetah, especially this round. So it can always come back. Thats what I am saying. Though most likely people will stay to his word and not resubmit it.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that tbh. Can people use his ideas and just submit them as is ? Is that even allowed to reuse someone else's art ?

Art, I don’t believe so. But the concepts can be reused from what I saw. I saw the dire otter return though it didn’t do well. And there are several versions of the cheetah being used. With Raephclark has got to the top ten with his design of the cheetah before. So it can happen.

Sometimes is good to change partners if things don't work properly.... Just saying.

And it will undoubtably be nothing like the original submission and be just another annoying gimmick tame. Resulting in people who voted for it to not be happy and complain. its a perpetual loop... one that will only be cured by... say it with me now everyone "Banning Carnivores From The votes."

Not an actual raptor, by the way; it's a theropod dinosaur, looked it up.

They want a new raptor they need to get the Utah Raptor out and close all the rest of the raptor designs out and do new dinosaurs all together after that

The fact I'm not alone says otherwise. We don't need more theropods, period. there is no but's, or's, if's, and's, or otherwise, we DO-NOT need more theropods.

And the mayguana is like puked up rotten meat that moves who comes up with this dog.... poop...why not just release the may wing instead of making a pile of crap burned buy kiliwaya's lava and dropped in to Krakatoa for a color scheme only other cow pies would love

Let's be honest guys, nearly all the creatures to pick from for this community vote was pretty lame. I wasn't excited for any of them but kind of had hope for the tank trike at least being a decent Herbivore. I don't mind the Megaraptor I just hope it doesn't get butchered like the Yi-Ling did, most annoying wild creature to run into and completely useless as a tame because of its limited weight stat constantly bogging you down.

It Just barely won over the cheetah, for obvious reasons. So don't PRETEND ARK influencers didn't sway the vote into the Megaraptor's favor. Also, just look at all the posts on the first page of this crunch of people NOT happy about the winner of the vote. many of them of likes in the double digits... and still rising.

We could have had a cool lizard, or pet, or cheetah. Heck, the cheetah had the plurality to begin with, and you still do this silly ranking nonsense that leaves most of us mad

There were two theropods on that list, and we don't even get the useful one

It may be "rude" but it is still a fact. This has happened WAY more times than you realize. The creature that should have LOST won the vote, it's not going to be anything like the suggested submission, it ends up sucking in game, people get p!ssy, next vote starts, lather, rinse, repeat. People who don't want theropods are sick of it, they don't want to see a vote go to waste when it could have gone to something that's either fun, useful, or both. Megaraptor is neither, so it will undoubtably fall victim to the same slop as before. As I've said before, its an unending cycle with these carnivore votes... and the only way that cycle is ever going to be broken is if carnivores are just banned from the votes altogether.

I hope they make it unique, and dont strip its abilities away from its dossier form. Like being a stealth killer, or being able to go on 4 legs like the iguanodon/indoraptor from JW. Being able to pin stuff down or climb walls like rockdrake would be cool too. I really hope its not another allo, carno or other generic carni.

Would it be possible to consider changing  the next "creature vote" to  be all about abilities? Imagine letting the community  summit  list of abilities and no artworks.  What does it do. How big is it? How do you tame it. What does it eat. Buff? Saddle Perks?  Yes this could lead to comminity voted "chimera"  but I think it would not only be a particulary fun vote but could also point out toward what players are looking for in creatures/what is lacking in game without the constriction of looks. Once this is all sorted then let us vote on what it looks like / have the studio summit  a series of possible wip and we get to vote withing those propositions. Have a glorious day.
