Remember everyone : don't just vote for the creatures currently in the Top10 (it's not set in stone anyway). It's not fair to people who are only now adding their submission to ignore the new arrivals.

Any one of us who has submitted a creature has given it some level of thought and put some work into it, be it through art, presentation, writing, concept, research, etc. So just a few kind words, some constructive feedback, or simply underlining what you like about their creature, will be appreciated.

a week only? ☹️ common guys, make it at least until 24th, so many regions to find colors for and some people can only spend time at weekends.

I'm excited for the chibi lovebird! I do wish these events would last longer. Especially this one because of the hell that is fishing. That limited timeline is exactly why I left official servers for a custom server that leaves events up for a month or sometimes until the next event. Im not saying official should let the events go on for THAT long, but at least 2 weeks would be a nice bit of leeway for those of us who work. ALSO, isn't Astraeos releasing on the 12th? The same day the event starts? That timing is brutal because that gives zero time to establish yourself and focus on the event. Feels unfair

In case any1 from WC team will read it, heres the question:
When will we be able to see in game skins we paid money for? And whats the point of adding more if they doesn't work?

Thank God someone is talking about it, as a veteran of the contest I can only agree. The problem is that everyone is talking about it unfortunately it's as if it were engraved in stone, between videos and other online platforms it's a continuous advertising campaign...

I renew my personal opinion on the fact that there should be more winners even if distributed over time for 3 main reasons:
1- You get more creatures (obviously)
2- It allows in future contests to win even creatures that have not been voted in previous contests, maybe from people who did not even hope to get there.

3-Having more creatures would also allow us to create entire maps not with the usual parasaur or the usual t-rex because, remember, arks are used to host as much biodiversity as possible...

(I want to point out that I'm not throwing poop at the developers, seeing the bison for ragnarock is proof that they listen to us, it's just my opinion)

What kind of state is Astraeos going to launch in ?

Because if there havent been major updates since I played it a few weeks ago, it's not worth 15$. Cool map, cool theme, but very unfinished. 

My only question is when we going to get the x2 raising back?    Them carchas and bigger dinos take too long

That is a modder issue they have recook there mods with new dev kit to fix icons 

What happened to server transfers open for extinction on the 7th?  There was the one mention of it but after that nothing.  No updates, no further discussion.  Not too mention Gacha spawns are almost non existent, same as tek Dino spawns, as a matter of fact spawns in general on extinction are pretty dismal, city terminals are still invisible.  Which is extremely annoying for those of us that don’t have the transmitter unlocked yet.  Otherwise we are forced to use the king titan terminal, which is a pain especially if we only have a small amount of time to do what we gotta do.  It would be nice if you guys got this stuff fixed before too much longer as well as release tek dinos on all maps just like it was in ASE, if ya want to keep the tek giga on Extinction as sort of a unique thing only to the map I wouldn’t have an issue with that.  It would make taming one that much better.  
 

Secondly, the Love Evolved event only a week and at 2x?????  C’mon guys!  The love evolved event has always been catered to the breeding side of Ark.  Not trying to sound like an ungrateful, entitled whine ass but (and I’m sure others would agree) the Love Evolved event would warrant 3x breeding/raising.  The winter wonderland event was over 2 weeks, the Turkey Trial was 2 weeks and the Fear Evolved event was 2 weeks, why is the Love Evolved event only a week?  I could agree for a week long Love Evolved if say it was 4x or something like that.

@ladyteruki, that is a very good thing to bring up!  I myself forget there’s more options than just the top ten, I am only human….i think.  In this day and age of just looking at the first page of everything, people seemed to have forgot that sometimes the information they want, need or are interested in seeing aren’t until page 3.

I'll be honest, I don't understand Youtubers who only talk about the Top10 (or Top3 for that matter), when it is simply free content to browse the submissions on camera, then react to even those who have only one or two votes. It'd be the 8 easiest minutes to fill. Repeatedly, if they wanted.

Everyone knows about the Top10 ! There is zero surprises there. Be the person who's going to uncover a great creature in the depths of the submissions, instead.

When I was still active on Xwitter, I remember just talking about some of my finds for previous votes ; for instance I firmly believe creatures like the Hippopotamus, the Eomanis, the first Cryodrakon or the Keresdrakon would have gotten more votes if they had had more exposure. In my opinion they had the potential for it. Who else but the content creators can be the person who says "hey, I found a hidden gem, let's go vote for it !", rather than dragging more votes to creatures who already have been upvoted hundreds of times ?
Even if they don't win, how great for the submitter to know their idea was not posted in the void...

We're all only human, survivor I think we can all use a reminder from time to time that we don't have to just go with what is already popular. And you're right, sometimes the right creature for you is hidden on page 3 (or later), and this creature might never make it to the Top10 if noone has the curiosity to look for it.
While a creature finishes taming or an egg hatches, maybe we have time to browse the official forums and take a look further than the obvious ones ?
