Community Crunch 425: Aberration Launch and your new buddy, Cosmo!

Probably that I've missed an episode, but is there going to be a airship in the BTT update ? Previous concept art seemed to imply there would be one included with Aberration's steampunk content, but I don't remember reading anything about it since, while this recap would have been the perfect place to bring it up.

(I keep finding it weird that the new spider is called "Cosmo" and not "The Cosmo" XD )

On console you can't see the dinos' footsteps, I really hope that with the update you will finally be able to see them on console too

Should've released a trailer today instead of the launch day. It's helps with the hype.

 

I just hope that many of the areas that had issues like falling through the map have been fixed. To many times did I die to an area that I would mesh through when riding a Basilisk. 

 

Otherwise I am excited for the new version of Aberration. 

I hope the people who wanted a jumping spider are happy now. Now it's our turn.

Quit ruining the ratholes for solo duo and trioz like it aint fair for them to have to quit the game and go play pve just bc u will fix easy ratholes to wipe but u wont ban the people suping and ruining thr game

So it's passed cert on all platforms? Been here before then blame..... For not passing. 

Looking forward to it was 1 of my favorite maps, I'm really hoping enough servers it's not exactly the easiest to transfer from with a few servers added days later.

I don't understand why they couldn't release this this weekend, when so many of us are off work. No, instead they launch in the middle of a work week when we can't do much.

Dude Cosmo looks like it'd be like a wirebug from Monster Hunter Rise. I'd be so down for it. I hope its shooting range is on the fun side and not the "pvp balanced" side... If the range is short it might kill the fun.

Buddy, releasing in the weekend would be absolutely stupid. Right at the moment Wildcard devs themselves are off work too. So if anything goes wrong (which isn't unlikely with updates this big), there is no one to fix it. Just stop being so pathetic and have some damn patience.

Dudes! It's not free, if we paid for it, same goes for extinction and I'm pretty sure your having another bobs tales pack for gen 1+2 plus the new map.. Your cash milking ways are appalling, at least be straight about your Pay to Win and cash grab. You trying to sweeten the blow, for asking a repaying over a product, most of use paid well above other games, is just shameful. Don't forget to push us with some Gender politics and diversity woke on the way.. Cause that’s what's important for the game and not fixing the many bugs still following us from ASE and placing copy paste textures to compensate for time..

I'm really hoping you will have enough servers up on launch to actually allow people to play while having lives outside the game. To me, this decision sounds like you're just giving the lucky few, who have the time and manage to get on in the first weeks to pillar the maps, an even bigger headstart compared to those of us who can only play in the evenings when the new servers are already full to the brim. It would've made more sense to give x2 rates to all maps except Aberration to give a consolation price to people who are inevitably left out.

Nvidia Frame Generation and DLSS are better than AMD's choices. Please, do not eliminate them and let us choose the best options for us.

So, to be clear, no UE update incoming for at least 3 months? The one loads of players where promissed to get on the 4th of september.

Yeah, I also think it's weird that they don't say anything about airships. I suspect they'll either add them later or decide not to add them at all, because Aberration was supposed to be a location without flying mounts. It's very frustrating.
