This will be huge for QoL.

Personally I'm of the mindset that it's better to have dinosaurs for that than automatons (plenty of other games have robots, ARK's the dinosaur one), but that said...

definitely could have made a dinosaur do these tasks rather than to branch out from the main concept of the game. this thing isnt gonna fit in what so ever.

It's so funny that the robot's name is literally "survivor mate". Amazing.

Am wondering whats happened to the Airship that was supposed to be the Bobs Tall Tales extra? Is this as well as, or instead of?

im so livid at this but not for the reasons you think. two years ago i had an idea just like this. a robot that would repair structures and collect resources! is WC reading my mind. i literally updated the dossier for it a few days ago! am i psychic?! While i know this isn't the same exactly but just look at the blue.

People complaining about the robo butler must have forgotten about all of the other machine creatures in the game. Sure it's a "dinosaur game", until you find any TEK note, Obelisk, or TEK cave... I like him, but I had talked myself into believing they would add the Maeva also. I'll continue to wait and see.

I understand they need asa to do well in order to fund ark 2. But not making improvements to basic game needs/ wants is a bad choice. Improve character models give us more customization options.  More craftable items and upgrades the crafting in this game. Find a way to add immersion back to ark. And since aberration is one of the most popular maps more servers need to be released on the first day than normal or they need to release two maps at the same time to split players up. Maps like rag or crystal isles or gen 1 because they are large and fun. Time was just wasted even touching the center. It was a flop before and it’s a flop now.

Really thought the Cosmo and Pyromane waywall creatures were it but nah, a robot that takes the grind off of you and basically.. what is left? breeding? exploring? Might as well spawn it all in at this point, play around for 5minutes and then be bored of it. Like there was a friggin mod in ASE with a ton of downloads and of course now its coming to ASA but paid for. Taking everything the community wanted or created as a mod over the years and now you paywall that. Good Job. poopstorm incoming.

Agree with the others: why are you adding a humanoid robot instead of a creature/robotic creature that does this? Or some steampunk tek dinos? If it must be a humanised robot couldn't you at least make something with a steampunk vibe (think dwemer machines)? This jokey thing looks like it came straight out of Pixar or Fornite, not Ark - it doesn't fit the vibe at all.
