Anyways, any news on the release of Ragnarok? I'm not going on ARK Ascended until AT LEAST that map drops!

For the creature “Cosmo”  is there any recognition to the original artist and concept designer for the creature, which was a community member, where your design was inspired off of?  If not, can you please correct this.

Can't wait for Snail Games to go out of business and have WildCard be bought by an actual good company bc they would honestly have a much better and happier fanbase and they would have more people to get updates out quicker (no hate to WildCard just Snail Games💀🙏)

Gotta say, I love the Cosmo and I hate spiders. I think a good way to get around the controversy though is to have the Maiva added as a free creature to Abb and give recognition to the person who originally suggested it.  The Maiva could live in the second layer of Abb in webs in the corners and be like an "adult" version of Cosmo. Maybe not even technically related, but in the same family.

You really think they will thanks the original artist, this is WC and Snail, greedy bunch, will never thank original artist

Love it, I was worried it was only a light shoulder pet

Wanted it to work as a Grappling hook kind of thing and kinda let you become spider man

So it delivered   I hope it have some colorful visuals too.

 

Yeah I’m torn between its abilities and the fact that it’s a Maevia rip-off 😩 like don’t get me wrong, they sound like fantastic abilities, but I’m still upset that they decided to “rebrand” the Jumper as their own.

While I do understand that it's pretty scummy that they used the popularity of the Maevia to make a Jumping Spider that is locked behind a payed DLC, in all fairness, it's not like they credited the people who suggested and made concept art for Dinopithecus, Desmodus, Rhyniognatha, Carchardontosaurus, Gigantoraptor, Fasolasuchus, Shastasaurus, Yi-Qi (which I'm still salty about), and Dreadnoughtus.

does this mean abb is coming out sooner than later? I love these dino crunches! its always a harbinger of some phat content on its way! Abb and Rag are going to be so much fun i really cant wait. im ready for abb this time and im ready for the fresh look. it was awesome before i cant even set a bar for waht to expect cause it already blew my mind the first time.

Considering Aberration is coming on Sep 4th i'd say Ragnarok will be around December, assuming they keep the order of the maps the same.

Hopefully they will, but we still have two more maps after Aberration before the next map that will have one, so i'm hoping may by the end of the year they'll start again, but who knows.

I wonder whose submission is next. There were some very highly popular ones like the Gorgonops and Bastion Beetle, Dire Otter, I'm sure they could find a way to change those into versions of their own and turn a profit out of them from riding on the backs of their popularity, as well as many others that made it to the finals in the other rounds. 

I could already imagine a whole entire purchasable pack of them, unrecognizable in abilities 😆🤦

snail doesn't own them they are a contracted publisher

Agreed. They don't give credit because they don't own the creature. and as i have stated wildcard asked for suggestion and someone suggested the maevia. then they took it. its like a candy company saying: "we want to make a new candy flavor. what do the people think?" people: "How about strawberry and blackberry with a hint of cinnmon?" Candy guys: "That sounds great."

 

Now here an alternate angle. The powers:

Grapple - a mechanic in the game

Torpor - a mechanic in game

Bolas - a mechanic in game

Jumping and climbing - a mechanic in game

 

All of these abilities exist in the game thats owned by wild card if you wanna break it down like that. its just those abilities combined into one thing. now unless she created a new ability, status affect, or something revolutionary with in the game then i could see it being an issue. now if im wrong for these thought. forgive me

Wilcard Studios is very much owned by Snail.

So basically this little spider is a bola, a grapple, and it can grab stuff cool! But what about sovira?
