Community Crunch 372: Community Creature Winner, EVO Event, and More!

Of course there will be official implementation of new engrams and organisms on ASE paid maps such as Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis, etc. in ASA, right? If not, then it would be meaningful to add all or at least 5 organisms that were selected until the final election.
I mean, it seems that Net Projectile is required for the taming method of the selected creatures, but Net Projectile is an engram from Genesis 2, isn't it? You are not joking that aberration alone is not enough for taming, are you?

Congratulations to the Yi-Qi, you have my respect for winning. However, I am somewhat disappointed; another glider added to aberration is somewhat interesting, but I feel as though the Eureka or my personal favorite the Chimera would have been a better choice. A new spider-like mount would have been a great middle ground in terms of mobility between the Ravager with its zipline ability, and the rockdrake with its gliding and climbing. I feel as though another glider somewhat takes away from the uniqueness of the rockdrake and I think the Yi-Qi would have fit better on a different map to finds its own unique niche.

Nonetheless, I'm still excited to see what this creature has in store for us and I'm sure it will still be an incredible addition to ASA. Congratulations, RRG.

This is some bull crap!! The spider was in the lead the entire time until the end. Anyone smell more corruption here? Cuz I certainly do

Congrats to the Yi Qi, hopefully the Devs will give it uses for Both PVP and PVE and not just one Gamemode, Anyways The Team and I are already getting to work on preparing for Chimerarachne Yingi's Return For Extinction, Then Both Genesis Maps if it doesn't work out for Extinction, if all Else Fails we'll Make the Creature an ASA Mod

To be honest the reason it didn't win is most likely similar to some other community vote... the way this voting system work, usually the majority first vote won't win.

Like the Number of People who wanted The Jumping Spider most of all as their #1 is more than others. (6760)

but since Jumping Spider was Top voted in the forums submission, many people who don't like it but like other things, put the spider at their very last Vote under everything else so the other creatures have more chance.

this make the #1 most popular creature to not win when all the other votes are summed up together, the most popular is always the unluckiest one.

 

I mean I can't blame people who do this, I also did this before for other creatures that were #1 in submission vote but i didn't like them, i put them in the very last even tho they were not the most disliked creature by me i just want them to have less chance and my preferred one to have more chance.

Wish they would switch to Approval voting.

Why does yi qi look like the rock drake in you all’s release of it, that’s great we really needed a twin to the already rock drake on aberration, if you devs are smart and have any type of brain, you would add Maevia eureka to the game like you did with the carcharadontasaurus, that jumping spider had been so many top 10’s and this was closest one yet but if y’all aren’t adding it in keep me updated because I just won’t buy the game until it is, because these creature votes seem very off, how does the one of the most wanted creatures, most peoples number 1 Maevia eureka not make in? At this point I’m questioning who you all have checking these votes and counting them, everyone else that feels the same way boycott Ark until we get Maevia Eureka, don’t buy ark ascended, that’s the way you get them to listen, you have to stop the cash flow for companies to listen, best regards to you wild card, drop the ball for me.

I think they have the impression that ASA is already working

 

They were never accurate in the information they gave, all the time their fantasies about ASA how wonderful it is.  But so far, they only boast about concept art and blind their eyes with votes for a dino that will come out in the coming months or years.  In WC/SG there are no factual statements, only childish boasting, no specifics.

Aw, really hoping maevia would win but the Yi Qi was my second choice. Here's hoping since it did so well they might consider giving it the charcha treatment later on.

So can we get some kind of progress  report on what the  is going on with this game . Becuse U  have had over 6 months  to get this bull poop together  we are tired of being dragged around  like ur poopty teather on solo .  Show us something worth looking at . Like a video of this Mysterious new game you're making. Monday, we will be in August when you guys were supposed to release the game the first time, but you screwed us again. A lot of people are getting tired of waiting on this bull poop ,stop showing us thing like dossiers from maps that we aint getting until the middle of next year. We don't care, we want to see that you're actually doing what you're saying you're doing. We  wanna see gameplay screenshots something? You're the only poopty developers that do this bullpoop Any other game developer will give us something to show that they are progressing. You're wasting time making these damn dossiers and these new creatures. When you can be focusing on an actual game to put them in . Sorry u have let us down like poopty parents  to many times so there is no trust with u  make it right and get ur poop together  . You make great game but suck at communicating with us . Fix ur screw up and do the ppl a solid

I am starting to believe  that it's all a damn lie . I'm about to just say screw it and buy conan . At least their developers communicate with their community. The Chinese really has them by their balls, don't they? Welcome back to 2015 allover again 

hopefully it will be different than a drake

I have noticed that some creature submissions have great proposed ability ideas, but few read far enough to see them. I am thinking a very brief summery of the abilities before anything else would be beneficial. Such as for this Chimerarachne Yingi having a smithy saddle because no other aberrant creatures having one was probably overlooked. Since few bother to read the whole submission. So being able to craft high level blueprints on aberration is impossible without a smithy saddle. I am suspecting that people seeing the summary first, before the flavor text would help these more creative, and nuanced creatures to be noticed for their strengths along with their appearance.

Short rant... This creature gave the possibility for adding in a "primative" incubator, since we are going to have to wait forever for gen 2 to be released to get the regular incubator. There was an opening for the spider milk mechanic to work on wyverns, and rockdrake, thus making this chimera appealing to all the players that wanted the bison. That is, if the devs took the hint. Plus the net gun feature, or we have to wait for gen 2 for the engram again. Then the fact that you can haul stuff with on demand, inexpensive zip-lines, or wall crawling. I am thinking nobody put all that together in their heads to see how useful that is. Hell, nobody realizes that the Sauropod this vote would have been the only stone gatherer that can HARVEST ITS OWN FOOD TO FEED ITSELF. The only one! That sauropod is basically a primitive stryder with a built in saddle forge. READ PEOPLE!... Rant over.

I actually liked the sauropod and not so much the chimera as for prim incubator isnt that the gigaraptor from last vote not sure if theyll be allowed on ab but can always use dimetradon no point having to many dinos with the same abilities. Thow look farward to seeing it in the future but would much preffer a herbavor that over turns the rex meta besides theris so hadrosaur will have my first place vote personally. But valgero has abb zone might fit nicely in there is they ever do something with rad zone

so I like final result. I was sure that only this 4 creatures have chance to win and I was also sure that Maevia Eureka won't win in this voting system (lot of people were very hyped for a cute spider but also many didn't want spider to win so most of them probably put Maevia Eureka on last place to be sure it won't win). I expected Chimerarachne Yingi could win because it was a lot of hype but probably people didn't want another bug like creature. I'm a little sad that giant flightless owl wasn't higher because the concept and design is very cool.

Now for The Center I would like to see more dinos in top 10 and I hope dino like creature will win on this map.
