The Valentine event is a nice surprise, but the continued commitment to diversity is a solid reminder of what Ark (not just WildCard) is all about.

Actions like this only remind us of the problems of racial diversity. For me, everyone is equal .. and there is no need for such oversensitivity of the subject. There's no need to create such days.. or we'll get paranoid, so we'll celebrate white man's day, because why not?

Why is this a surprise? It was written that there will be no new skins, chibis etc. but the events will continue to be switched ...

I don't think it was very clear.  That's why they mention it in this crunch that they were going to put it w/ the evo events.   Even the idea of evo events continuing wasn't clear until a couple weeks into this new year.  Its going to make many people very very happy, and leave some of us naysayers with egg on our face.

I'd like to see event activities such as love evolded's fishing and easter dodos during the eggcelent adventure, even if those wouldn't grant you any cosmetics or chibis. But, unfortunately, that's not going to happen, apparently...

I'm gonna completely ignore what people are talking about and just enjoy the colorful dinos.

As someone who's so white that they're almost translucent: I love to see Wildcard speak up openly for diversity time and again.

To those who are trying some labored mental gymnastics to turn this around, call it racism, whatever: yes we all know you're just annoyed and don't even take your own points seriously.

Also interesting to see how religion comes up in the comments. Ark is a little (wildly inaccurate!) evolution simulator, it's even in the name. Surplus of offspring + variety of attributes + mutation + selection. If atheism is a religion, then "off" is a TV station.

Soo we can only access those items on genesis cause of the hlna shop ?

I think it's either...

...The BLM logo is the right hand, but they wanthed to include implants in the african colors anyway, just to make it fancier (most likely).

When are we going to get an update on Survuval of the Fittest on console, it seems like since not alot of people are talking about it, the devs are equally uninvested and are focusing mainly on small bugs occurring in official servers. After being delayed for the second time it was supposed to be released this week and not only has it not been released, we haven’t gotten any announcements all week about this. If it’s not ready say so, all we want is updates on the scenario.

I think they said it's supposed to be coming out next week now

 

classic question: do we have to activate this event on pc ?? i just logged in to make a little farm for resources , but i see everything the same. dinos have all classic colors and rss amount is the same 

the event started on the 9th until the 16th since yesterday i am waiting for the event.  today is 10 and it is not there.  seriousness. Very sad

No, if you read the Community Crunch it runs from 10th to 17th. The Switch event starts on the 9th.

Today is the 10th, and it will start when events normally start which is around ~4/5 hours from now most likely.

No extra time is needed because it is not late.

does anyone ever think they will fix the drops that keep going in to mesh i have reported this before but still  no changes where made
