The point is, the devs only partially care about what the community wants… NO one wants the flies to be nerfed, NO one likes rule breaking meshers, People we’re hyped for Primal but never got it, the latter was something WILD CARD ANNOUNCED.

Apparently guns are useless in PvE. That's a new. What do you do when you don't have a creature with you? Pull out a sword and slap creatures? 

Mek/Giga: Giga is useless, how? It's the strongest thing possible when not fighting bosses and that doesn't seem like a downside when bossfights are apparently useless. Same thing goes for Mek. 

Exo Mek: What if you want to live on a new map? Or maybe you just want a better place to live, maybe near useful creatures or resources. 

Replicator: You got all of them in one. Not bad, not useless. Tek is supposed to make gameplay easier, and if you have the element, it does. If you don't have element, extinction is right there.

Wildcard did something for and with the community, that hasn't been done in years. They're not just gonna throw it out. Do you know how mad so many people will be if it never gets added? They almost have to add it, or people will be demanding it in literally every community crunch.

Giga is useless because. 1. It turns on it’s rider if you so much as sneeze on it, 2. It’s Stamina is LAUGHABLY horrendous, 3. It’s so abysmally rare you’d sooner ascend without ever seeing one,  4. It’s helpless to literally any pilot on a flyer with a high Stam pool. (and don’t say breeding is a way to get more, because THATS laughably long) 5, it’s needlessly big, you may as well paint a target on it. Again, why do you need to fight bosses when the rewards are useless?

Also TEK guns are what are useless in PVE. Last I checked, GUNPOWDER was much easier to obtain and is more readily available than element. And even if you want to believe I said “guns are useless in PVE”, have you seen the damage of sword blueprints? Do you know what a crossbow is? What a Pike’s reach is? How effective a compound bow is?

exo mek: most tribes are stationary. And with clusters being a thing people seldom stay on anything “not the home server” for long.

Replicator: way to assume everyone on earth has one expansion. And again at that point players have all the structures the replicator is. And they are all a fraction of the size and DON’T need element.

Giga: I've had a giga die before it raged once, pretty sure they removed the feature entirely. It doesn't matter if it stamina is bad, it only goes down quickly with its run speed, and giga is for combat and nothing else. Also, just because a creature is hard to tame and raise doesn't make it useless. It's difficult for a reason. 

 

Exo Mek: I've never seen people do that with clusters, people live on whatever map they want. Also, if you're not moving bases, just don't make one, unless you want a replicator you can literally cryopod. 

 

Replicator: Extinction isn't even the only option, and the dlcs have been on sale more times than I can count. You can go to Crystal Isles and harvest element shards ask someone for an element Gacha, go to abberation or genesis if you have those.

A whole new gamemode is harder to make than one creature, and wildcard had money issues at the time and it's too late to add the mode with ark 2 being worked on.

that just makes it worse, rage is what gives Giga its raw stomping power. If you had it die before then, either it was laughably weak or you are REALY bad at ARK. If it’s a combat only tame then it is the very definition of USELESS TO PVE PLAYERS.

That game mode has been announced LONG before ARK2 was even an idea, and WC has had plenty of opportunities to get back to working on it after their money issues were absolved… instead opting for FOUR EXPANSION PACKS… AND FOUR FREE MAPS.

You know....when I first saw the Exo-Mek, I thought you'd be able to equip it with some of the weapons like flamers/mini guns, maybe a portable version of the tek Turret, a mining drill etc. On release, I thought ''what a wasted opportunity''. Then I saw the community's Dinopithecus Dosier and thought ''cool someone gets it'' and this will be great. But then Wildcard had to go down the route of an unimaginative, boring, vanilla set of abilities. Like...why???

What is even your goal when playing PvE? Clearly you don't want tek because it's "useless", you're not going for the best dinos because they're "useless" and you could apparently just tame 500 Carnos, and you don't fight bosses because it's "useless". Do you just unlock a few fabricatior items and quit? You're literally the only person I've ever heard say tek is worthless in PvE, despite it being overpowered in both game modes. The whole game is practically centered around tek now, and you think it's just for bragging that you beat the map? You say tek is useless, but most of it is just a better version of a more primitive item. Are those items useless too?

Gigas don't get stronger during rage, they just kill you. And again, the feature as a whole was removed. It didn't matter how weak your giga was, if it took enough constant damage, it would rage, meaning the whole "you are Really bad at ARK" statement was pointless. 

Replicator: Who gives a crap if it's hard to navigate when it's your only source of free element? And apparently Tropeo is good for PvE and Giga isn't. Get the fighter jet for PvE, and the creature destroyer for PvP. I play on a cluster, and have played on the same one for over a year. If I asked literally everyone if gigas are useless in PvE, they would think I'm stupid because they probably have a giga right at their base.

 Giga is the worst, and will never be the best. It’s just an oversized vanity pet people tame for being insecure for things no one cares about (or if they are a completionist which is the only justifiable reason to get one). A team of rexes will do you fine, and is far easier to obtain.

TEK is useless because you go through so many needlessly complicated steps just to get a fraction of them down. When just having a quarry of creatures auto-gathering in a walled off area is far easier to build and manage. No need to fight bosses, just need to smelt metal and get paste/polymer. Sure TEK “makes things easy” but it’s an end game object that really only has a use in PvP, where technology determines the winner… but in PvE, what’s there to fight? Bosses? They are optional and pain to set up, pass. Wild dinosaurs? Unless you need food or some other thing your Tames should be enough. Other players? It’s PvE, if you want to fight others you are in the wrong place. TEK is useless to PvE.

I'm not crying about it, and my argument was also backed by valid facts. You're just saying the same thing over and over until I shut up. If you seem so confident it's not getting added, your posts will be the first things I think of when it does get added.

It’s not, because again. Wild Card is not capable in the slightest. Don’t believe me? Just look at all the people upset that the baboon can’t use guns. (I’m not one of them but there’s still a lot.)

Look up just one ark PvE vanilla playthrough. What do they have? Guns, Gigas in lategame, tek in endgame, because they beat the bosses. Tek solves almost every problem you have if you even had one. Just throw on some tek armor. Fall damage? Gone. Flyers? Optional. Scuba Tank? May as well throw it in the grinder. Hover Skiff is the fastest thing in the game, which is actually useful to you considering your Tropeo argument.

 The point of PvE, is to play freely without some beta male with a god complex putting you in a roofless prison just for existing. Since you don’t NEED to fight, most of the more combat oriented tools/tames either have less use or none at all.
