I think (this is just a theory) that wildcard has not picked a second creature and that they are secretly gonna put both carconadonthosaurus and denopithecus into the game.

All the same carconadonthosaurus would be a awesome tame especially if it were allowed in boss fights. Not to mention a fireteam of denopithecus they could be like S.W.A.T or something.

I wish they could add both since they are so close to tieing

Why not add both I mean every one is fighting about them and they both are cool I'll give you that but why not add both it'll make everyone satisfied they both are only 100 votes apart how hard can It to just add both.

Compy fact: the carconadonthosaurus hunted virtually every herbivore on land in Africa it's only treats were sarcos and during droughts spinos.

 

How is it fair that there are YouTubers influencing the votes for Dinopithecus  that should be looked in to  and disqualified . it should be up to all the players not the wants and influencing of them!

Most of votes come from PVP ers so not representing all players.

A spanish user stated earlier, that he observed, that as soon the both tied, the monkey instantly got 30 more votes. 
Well ... no conspiracy-theories here. but from my view it´s strange how one was in the lead, then fell behind and kept falling behind but all of a sudden got the lead and since then keeps winning votes... 
But if there were really (what I kinda doubt) some people that are so energetic to create fake accounts to vote all the time, I´m sure Wildcard is aware of that.

let´s be honest... team Carcha is getting pissed about the fact, that despite it´s performance in the voting it´s losing to a literal upscaldes present Baboon... 
heavens, they should really add both... is see a lot of salt and hate coming

no it shouldn't iv'e watched all of upfromthedepths videos about the dinopithecus and he said to vote for what you think is cool.and i DID NOT VOTE FOR THE MONKEY BECAUSE A YOUTUBER MADE IT!

 

I wouldn’t mind either winning, but I’m not gonna lie it is Kinda suspicious how the baboon got hundreds of votes in the last day and a half when the Carcharodontosaurus was literally sweeping the competition as soon as votes opened up. At one point in time it was up by 800 votes.

i had been watching it and at one point the dinopithicus went up like 25 votes in... 30 seconds. it had happened multiple times. at one point yesterday the carchar was up by 12 and then the next refresh i did it was ahead by 2.

Well the monkey did have help from multiple modding communities shadlos and more and ark youtubers also if i recall Shadlos himself said he'll make his Carcharo a stand alone mod if ppl voted for monkey and this was done during a time where apparently there was ppl who wanted carcharo bad mouthing upfromthedepths so yeah with backing like that and a push from modders its votes skyrocked

Having a whole discord following go through a vote would do a lot

it would have been awesome if wildcard was proactive enough to make both the carchar and the monke while the vote was in progress. we knew one of them would win either way. i doubt they were doing that tho. : (

He didn't just use his influence, he also used the nonprofit, Orangutan Outreach. It looks great from the one side, but when you stop and think of timing, it's a little more clear. Didn't start it till the last week of this, not once during the top ten. I keep hearing that he says in the video to vote for what you want, but in the descriptions each time it said "support the monkey". He even tweeted to NOT vote for the carchar, but instead to request TLC for the giga.  

 

It will always be perfectly fine when it benefits them to use the influencers. 

Anything but the monkey XD i feel the only reason it got votes it due to the monke memes XD

im sad to see someone is bieng that kind of person to upvote a dino. that is really sad i just voted for the other best thing after the accro didnt make it.  i guess add both dinos and make everyone happy maybe? because some of us do actually like these dinos i didnt vote because of a dude youtube video

Maybe I'm just negative, but I feel like regardless of who won, the end result would've been the same: either A. it's an absolute dogwater of a creature and everyone forgets it exist, or B. it's an unstoppable god on launch but get nerfed into the damn asthenosphere and never recovers to popular use.

Thanks for the info. I´ll be deinstalling some mods now. 
that´s just poop for the Consoleros out there, that wanted Carcha... ignorant of the fact, that there are players that cant´have mods... 
And just for info. Shadlos announced in december 2019 that he was going to make his Carcha a standalone mod. 
looks like somebody feared, his mod could become obsolete....

I feel like every one who voted monke just didn’t know that wild card will destroy and nerf the perfect pvp creatures to the point where they can’t take on the massive creatures they once could. Ex. Velanasaur- when they first released you could do caves w them and lower level osd/ ele veins solo with one or 2 of them. Now a raptor pack can kill you. Also when it was first added. It’s strongest attack was the spin attack being able to send out thousands of damage a second and was the games best ground controll. What’s it do now? Oh right 2 damage max

i had saw it happen. monke had 5044 votes then in like 30 seconds it jumped to 5070. it had happened multiple times and at one point (a few days ago when the monke was ahead by only a little) carchar got ahead by 12 votes. next refresh (probably like a minute) we were only ahead by 2. wildcard said that alts would be disqualified but idk, that could have been to make us reconsider. or people were making entirly new accounts for like discord or gmail accounts that will never be used. and yes i spent 4 hours watching the votes.

or other people did the same. 
but we already know, that influencers and modder had their turn on that again.
