    Here's just a quick reminder that the week of purple, black, grey, and dark blue creatures on the ARKs ends tomorrow. Be sure to get your taming done while you still can! The colored dinos will stop spawning after a server redeployment tomorrow at 1pm EST. We've really enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful tames on Twitter so keep tweeting them to us!

    Mod Community Updates!

    I've gotten a really good number of tutorial requests this month for potential bounties! Thank you, everyone. I'll be choosing which ones get turned into bounties at the end of the month.

    Don't worry if your particular request doesn't make the cut this month, any requests that don't get made into bounties will remain on the request list. To that end please make sure that if you are interested in seeing tutorials for any of the requests that have been made, or if you still haven't added your own request, that you visit the bounty request form and submit it. I make the determination of which requests become bounties based on their demand.

    We also have a new mod tutorial ready for you today! We're looking at Blueprint interfaces and their magical properties. Seriously, these things are so useful to mod authors it's scary how overlooked they are. We're starting to get into some very useful, but possibly abstract, information. If you find you have any questions, please ask in the thread and I will do my best to fill in any gaps.

    Upcoming Server Maintenance!

    At 1pm Eastern on July 25th we will be taking down some of our NA servers for maintenance on PS4 and Xbox. Check the post below to see which servers will be affected:

    Survivors across ALL Platforms will be receiving a special Evolution Event perk this weekend! It will be active from Friday the 27th of July at 1 PM EST until Monday the 30th of July at 3 PM EST. All Official Servers across each platform will be undergoing this evolutionary change which includes:

    2x Harvesting Rates
    2x Taming Rates
    2x EXP Rates

    Is there any way to extend the Extinction event with the blue and purple dinos? I had to reinstall the game due to a bug and it wiped our server. I had some really pretty dinos that I lost due to reinstalling the game. I was not the only person having this issue. When I tried to start the game, the game would get stuck on the loading screen. The only way to fix the problem was to reinstall the game, which I had to do twice in the past week. I was told by others that they were having the same issue, which seemed to start happening right after the last update occurred. If there is no way to extend the event, is there a special Admin code we could use on our private dedicated servers to continue the event like people do with the Easter event?

    I just tamed a dark purple Giga, then found a deep blue just an hour later!! This event was awesome
