Will there be an XMas even on old legacy servers ? I am hoping to see Raptor Claus drop a few gifts once again this year.

Legacy servers receive the same events as the new ones.

The ETA is only the 19th, there is no specific time.

I think the ape and the direwolf the most. But the Rex still looks amazing. Also pls do the pleaseosuar and the spino next.

How? I cant install on PC yet. I know play anywhere releases today but still no install on PC option! Has anyone got this to work yet or knows the time it releases? Central?

As usual, it will be based on US times, meaning they just woke up over there.
So give it more time till European evening/late night.

I just read somewhere it releases at 8AM PST which would be  10AM Central...raptor, I'm up way early for nothing lol.

Will the new texture for dino update come to consoles?

Good, now should we expect XMas event's on the 24th only or will they launch it this week and thru January 2nd like usually ?

I still don't like the wolves. And the saber cats are horrible looking too. I wish they could make them look more like the wolf and cat mounts in ESO.

Awesome job on the TLC. I love the Rex, it needed a smaller head and more variety in colors. In my opinion the spino needs TLC more than the Rex. But that’s not to say the devs don’t have an awesome model for the spino in store for us. I can’t wait!

I like the rex but... it needs to be bigger and have more muscle

anyone else not able to buy the ARK: Super Fan Edition on the site they link?how do I buy it?

Let's hope they actually update the spino and not only that but actually remodel it accurately to scientific records. The spino was larger the giga and t-rex and was a bipedal and a quadruped.

You guys should update the araneo texture and make it look like a real spider not like the broodmother. It would make them more appealing.

I do have to disagree about the Rex's roar, I think the original roar sounded too much like an elephant. But about the "look" of the T-rex? I totally agree with you! I am an avid Tyrannosaurus rex fan (call me a fanboy if you want, but), this new model looks too dragony (I know that's not really a word). I love the Rex the way it is!!! The New Gigantopithecus looks great, but the new Direwolf model looks too much like a modern day Grey Wolf in my opinion. I'm a huge fan of ARK, no matter what! But if any devs are reading this, is there anyway the T-rex could stay the same (or at least the head), or at least let any already tamed rex's get an option to stay as the old model? Thank you for your time consideration! And whatever you end up doing, I fully support you and the entire ARK team, You all ROCK!!!!!!

I know the reworks add detail and what-not, but after playing the game since EA, I think I'll actually miss the old models. Any chance of them surviving somehow? Maybe as a mod or "low detail" option? I already miss the original sounds (dilos were so cute back then!) and would hate to lose the models also, though only for nostalgic reasons. The new ones do look great.
