ARK's Catch of the Day!

Nice I've always really liked fishing so this is perfect

YAAAAAS, time to follow my dreams of competitive fishing. 

now you guys will have to add more fish and give us something to do with the fish we catch.... Aquarium anyone?

Yay we need nets now to catch shrimp.

Now all we need is a Fishing Trophy Base for our biggest catches. I've seen some nice looking 3x Coel that'd look nice on my wall

I think that Killenjoke and Nyrang have interesting ideas, and I support the thought of them, also this is going to add more of the Primitve to modern to futuristic feel for the game, and this wil be a fun way to get fish instead of having to chase them underwater and potentinally drown due to stamina.

Will we be fishing up pleisiosaurs that when we kill them drop SOS notes in bottles that we can then fish up treasure chests and interesting house decorations?  That'd be just so "Ultima"

Oo! Can we at some point have the ability to convert screenshots into little hangable photos like that one? Or maybe a Polaroid item in game? Would be really cool to hang little memories on the walls. =D

I would suggest, that with this update you allow the fish to spawn even when there are structures near. Now I wouldn't say get rid of structures stopping the fish spawns entirely, but perhaps just lower the radius in which it stops the fish from spawning.

I suggest this as it would allow people to make docks that would be great for fishing. I know, I for one love making docks on my a lot of my house builds.

PLEASE ADD SOME SORT OF CUSTOMIZABLE FISH TANK!! I mean we can make glass walls, so maybe a fish tank is not too off topic. PLEASE!!!!

I hope we get the option of a Fishing pole, OR a Casting Net, OR just tying a fiber Rope to a Spear and go Harpooning stuff. other wise fishing's going to feel a bit lame and I love fishing in survival games so much so I like many options in how I do it.

Fishing Pole & Reel = good for single larger fish

Casting Nets = good for catching many small fish at once

Harpoon Spear & rope = good for Ride-able sea beasts + Really big fish like max sized Coelacanth & hauling them in

hope the devs see this idea for fishing

I can't wait for this, i've got a nice small lake under my base, so it'll be great to catch some big 'ol salmon and have my own pond. Hell, I might even charge people for fishing there.

How about a motor for the rafts?

Finally a use for the pesky magenuera and piranha time to go catch some bait i hear they be plesiosaurs in the deep seas.
