  • ARK Stomps Into PAX East

    Hey Survivors!

    We have some very exciting news to share: Studio Wildcard and ARK is going to be at PAX East!

    We've prepare our biggest booth ever for the Penny Arcade Exposition (PAX) East in Boston, Massachusetts, with all-day ARK: Survival of the Fittest tournaments Friday through Sunday, April 22-24. The Wildcard booth (#8092) will be hosted by well-known shoutcasters and Twitch personalities and will feature collectible dino pins, plus the chance to mount the biggest dinosaur you’ve ever seen for one-of-a-kind photo ops.

    Join all the jurassic fun starting at 10 am, Friday, April 22 at the ARK Main Stage where hourly tournaments of ARK: Survival of the Fittest will be broadcasted by your favourite casters BikeMan, TypeForced, Sl1pg8r, Fairlight Excalibur and more!

    What can you do at the ARK booth?

    • Test your skills in the first live battles of the new Hunger Games-style M.O.S.A. (Multiplayer Online Survival Arena); Limited spots, 20 players can compete each hour. Winners receive limited edition Dino Statue Prizes!
    • Watch all of the live broadcasted tournament action at our ARK main stage, co-hosted by Studio Wildcard developers
    • Take a picture riding on our 16-foot tall T-Rex!
    • Grab a collectible dino pin -- six pins in all!
    • Say hi to the Studio Wildcard community team
    • Watch out for ‘Special Announcements’ during the show!

    So when are you guys going to introduce the cave man? "A companion that can hunt and gather for you!" you can equip them with tools or weapons but only the primitive ones and the rt tool for the type of resource your looking for. Also introduce a caveman cave craftable structure that is a little bigger than a forge where u can open its inventory collected by the caveman and maybe even have some extra items like prints or saddles it may have come across while helping around the tribe. Passive tame with cooked food or club them and cage them and feed them cooked food while caged till they tame. Have to build a caveman cave before you take them though. Food for thought. Great game keep up the awesome content updates!

    It's not very often that i think i'd rather live in the US... but the gaming/comic/geek conventions are something i really miss.
