Behold the Cerberax, a monstrous frontline bruiser designed for heavy tribe combat and multi-rider synergy!

This terrifying beast features three distinct heads that each bring their own vicious specialty to the fight, with each head individually controllable by either the main rider or up to three additional passengers. One head tears into enemy defenses with corrupting force, another scorches targets with relentless flame, while the central head acts as an electrical catalyst, detonating these afflictions and spreading the carnage to nearby targets. In the hands of a coordinated cooperative team, these effects can be chained, combined, and consumed to unleash explosive combo attacks.

Cerberax is the fearsome anchor your frontline needs to dominate the battlefield. Lead the charge and watch your enemies crumble!

Shrouded in secrecy and whispered about in passing rumors, the Enigmasaur is an enigmatic master of disguise.

This mysterious entity possesses the incredible ability to store the form of any nearby creature after observing it from the shadows, allowing you to transform into the other creature at-will. Once hidden within a new shape, the Enigmasaur gains all of that creature's unique abilities. Capable of hoarding a handful of stolen forms simultaneously, the Enigmasaur is a highly rewarding tame that allows cunning Survivors to master the unknown and adapt to any situation.

Mimic the power of the ARK's diverse roster and strike when they least expect it!

Tunnel through the earth, tear through the front lines using multi-headed attacks, or mimic stolen creature-forms with ARK Fantastic Tames Season 1!

The wait is over. The first community-voted Extra Life TLC creature has officially emerged from the shadows.

The Araneo TLC is now live in ARK: Survival Ascended, transforming this once-overlooked crawler into a far more capable ambush predator. These overgrown spiders no longer cling to the ground alone, using web-lines to traverse elevated terrain, reposition through the environment, and descend on unsuspecting prey from above with unnerving precision.

    image.png

Armed with new mobility options, updated saddle functionality, and more versatile webbing, the Araneo now fills a unique role that blends traversal, control, and tactical support. Whether you’re weaving through difficult terrain, setting traps, or stalking your next target from the ceiling, this eight-legged menace is ready to spin a very different story across the ARKs.

Thank you again to everyone who supported Extra Life and helped bring this TLC to life. Next stop, Therizinosaurus!

I love the fantastic tames. I also cant believe I will get to tame a cerberus, its gonna be so cool 😎. All these gnarly and magical creatures, ark is just the goat. I am also excited for when they do a Gen 2 creature sumbission I got a banger of creature with mechanics not yet seen in game, and fills a niche in the most disturbing way...

The Araneo TLC looks amazing, so much has been done to it! Also the Burrowbuck jumping multiple times in the air 👀 Looking forward to checking both of these creatures out.

So happy the Araneo can wall climb now, and with all the other abilities it has it's going to make caving A LOT of fun

Araneo TLC looks amazing from what I've seen of it so far from various people. Nicely done on that front, WC!

As to the next TLC... why is Theri next? Wasn't Quetz #2? Quetz by far needs the TLC way more than Theri. Theri's biggest issue was how ugly/outdated its model was (just like the Giga), not its actual usefulness/viability like Quetz. :(

Araneo TLC is insane. I knew it was gonna be good, I didn't think it was gonna be this good.

I'm very interested to see people take on Broodmother now... hehe

The Burrowbuck letting you teleport across the map is really nice for players that don't use fliers. I like being able to place hidden dens too, they'll be great for sneaky swamp bases or snow bases where it's harder to spot the entrances. You can't place turrets in the den or build it underwater but it has auto-healing and the demolish timer resets when you interact with it, so log in every 2 days to prevent it breaking. Not sure if it claims land on pve servers or if it's deep enough to prevent tek helmet scouting but Parasaurs can probably detect creatures inside since it isn't so far under the ground.

The trap tunnels work very well for smaller creatures and seem to prevent them from attacking back, so you can hit them without being attacked back and then lure them into another trap on repeat.

Really love the Araneo spit being able to slow enemies down so much, it slows targets about as much as a Mesopithecus which is great for on-foot or against really quick tames. But turret-mode doesn't seem very reliable as it can end up shooting in a different direction to the creature it's targeting. Was testing how well it could spit at a Phiomia that was passive, standing still and also bola'd and the Araneo either missed its shots or when it did land multiple hits they would fire too slowly to gain multiple web stacks (whereas when ridden you can manually make the Araneo spit at a target and reach max web stacks in a few seconds).

Had to log in just to tell you guys you cooked! Most underrated part of all this hype as poop to me is the buff to base stats on the Araneo. I can’t remember if this happened with the older tlc’s but i think it’s exactly what old creatures need to shine! 👨‍🍳 👩‍🍳🎲

Araneo TLC - 8.5/10 - I still have to try it to give it a nine. The design, in the end, perfectly reflects what a TLC should be, in my opinion: an improved version of what it was before, not a separate creature. The abilities are exceptional and are what you'd expect from a spider as big as a brown bear.

Burrowbuck - 9/10 - A creature that exudes technical sophistication from every pore, from the design that combines rabbit flesh with precious stones, to its size, but above all, the abilities, which are perfectly designed to work together. What struck me most is the dual-use of the burrows, which become traps when used by enemies.

Excellent work, I can't wait to try them out. 💪

The fact, as you say, Quetz by far needs the TLC more than the Theri is probably the reason they want to spend more time on the Quetz TLC.

That is kind of backwards reasoning. If the Quetzal is so difficult to do they should focus all their eforts on that instead of doing the easy jobs first. Also, since the time the voting was done they even made a brand new animal... How hard can TLC be compared to the rabit?

I really wish they would just adopt the Paleo mod for the TLCs of Giga and Theri. Those are just too good

Actual perfect TLC, I’m still on the side that would have preferred something over the Theri, and even if they cook again like how the Araneo was cooked I’ll still probably look at it and go “This, but Liopleurodon”

hope they prove me wrong genuinely but it’s probably the TLC I’m least looking forward to
